Client needed access to expansion capital

A medium sized international company (valued at Euro 30 million) had developed a unique and proprietary manufacturing process and needed expansion capital to take it from the development stage to commercialisation. The Company hired Kylla to raise Euro 5 million equity capital and an additional Euro 8 million debt to finance its internationally located machine park.

Kylla formed a task force consisting of two Executives, two Senior Associates and a Network Partner. The team was spread over Europe and contacted both banks and private equity investors to raise the required funds from local players.

The task force wrote the business plan and prepared the credit application for the banks. Within a period of four months Kylla succeeded in finalizing the transaction in close cooperation with the Company's management team.

A high net worth entrepreneur from an extremely unstable country had most of his assets in the domestic market.
