What you will be doing

As our new Investment Manager, you will help us to drive our vision of Business Beyond Borders. You’ll be originating new transactions with investors and target companies. You’ll be helping our clients to expand into foreign countries around the globe – and ensuring they have the best funding, finance and advice as they do so. You will be responsible for client, project and investor acquisition, including putting together detailed investment pitches that involve having all the answers to any question. You will be analysing investments, projects and business propositions and monitoring their progress. You’ll be developing ideas to grow our firm further and ensure we remain ideally positioned to lead growth opportunities that are yet to come.

What you will need to succeed

We know we’re demanding, which is why we set the bar high. For this role, you will need:

  • All-round business insight involving analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to learn fast, all the time
  • Solutions-oriented mindset
  • Structured approach to your work
  • Fact-based decision-maker skills
  • Intrinsic motivation with a focus on results
  • Highly developed process and project skills
  • Desire to grow into a senior position and a willingness to invest accordingly
  • Curiosity and a love of innovation
  • Ability to negotiate or design pragmatic yet effective solutions
  • Ability to handle periods with high workloads
  • Be willing and able to travel globally
  • Good sense of humour and be nice to work with

Other requirements

To be considered for the role of Investment Manager, you will need, in addition to the requirements above, a Master’s degree, a solid understanding of the banking industry (especially in an international context), excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds, fluent spoken and written English and the ability to speak and understand Dutch (or the willingness to learn). Other languages are a definite plus.

What we offer you

Join Kylla and you will find yourself part of a small, agile team comprising two managing partners in the Netherlands, 12 associate partners in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America, plus a selected number of global network partners. As you can see, our organisation is lean and efficient, and we collaborate and communicate intensely with each other. We are informal and down to earth, and we work hard to deliver the great services and solutions our clients expect. Both managing partners are passionate entrepreneurs and very much involved in the day-to-day business. They’ve also got a healthy sense of humour and a sharp eye for the social aspect of the business. We offer competitive salaries and benefits packages in line with the market. We also offer training and education, and help with relocation and finding accommodation, if necessary.
